American Racing Headers 1-3/4" Long Tube Headers w/ Off-road X-Pipe
This long tube headers and off-road x-pipe combination were put together by the exhaust masters over at American Racing Headers to get you huge horsepower, torque, and sound gains by practically eliminating the back pressure caused by your factory exhaust system. Both the headers and x-pipe are manufactured from 304 stainless steel that is completely corrosion-resistant and can give you up to 25 to 40 horsepower, depending on your application. This kit will also give your Cobra a massive muscle car rumble that makes it sound like something out of the golden days of muscle cars. American Racing designed both the headers and x-pipe to fit 1999 to 2004 Cobras. This kit deletes your factory catalytic converters and is for off-road use only.
The pair of Cobra long tube headers that come with this kit have large 1-3/4" diameter primary tubes that are expertly mandrel-bent to ensure seamless exhaust flow. The primaries lead down into 2-1/2" collectors designed to scavenge as much exhaust as possible through the use of unique spikes. The headers have a built-in 3/8" flange that fits onto your engine's exhaust ports without modifications.
American Racing's off-road x-pipe fits naturally onto the headers that are included in this kit. The x-pipe features 2-1/2" mandrel-bent tubing and deletes your Cobra's catalytic converters to optimize exhaust flow for extra horsepower, but are for off-road racing and competition use only.
Each kit from American Racing comes with installation hardware, instructions, and O2 extensions.
