American Racing 1 5/8" Long Tube Headers
w/ Catted X Pipe
This powerful performance combination package from American Racing Headers is designed to grab tons of extra horsepower and torque out of your Cobra by completely overhauling your exhaust system with uprated components that expel exhaust gasses more efficiently. This kit includes a pair of long tube headers and a catted x-pipe that constructed entirely out of 304 stainless steel that makes them both tough and corrosion-resistant. The headers included with this package have a built in 3/8" flange that attaches to the exhaust ports of your Cobra's 4V 4.6L engine. Each header has 1-5/8" primary tubes that are mandrel-bent to greatly improve exhaust flow over the factory exhaust manifolds. The primaries lead down into a 2-1/2" collector housing that contains a specially-designed velocity spike that promotes improved exhaust scavenging. The headers come with a fitting that connects with the American Racing catted x-pipe.
The catted x-pipe of this kit features 2-1/2" mandrel-bent piping and built-in high flow catalytic converters. Each catalytic converter has 200 cell metallic substrates that allow for better exhaust outflow than the factory variants.
The kit comes with installation hardware, fittings, and oxygen sensor extensions.
