Prothane IRS Control Arm Bushings
Prothane's polyurethane control arm bushings are purpose-built for the independent rear suspension system of modern SVT Cobras and function as direct bolt-on replacements for the the rubber factory control arm bushings. The IRS system is designed to handle tough roads and corners, but suffers from a lot of deflection when under heavy loads. Prothane's bushings are the cure and help make your Cobra's suspension more responsive, nimble and also reduce the amount of wheel hop and other unpredictable suspension movements. These bushings will only fit the factory IRS system of 2003 to 2004 SVT Cobras.
Prothane manufactures all of their bushings out of premium polyurethane that is much more rigid than the factory rubber bushings. The extra strength and density allow for less suspension deflection giving you a more responsive suspension feel and allowing to dig into those hard corners more flatly. Polyurethane is rigid enough to provide excellent levels of performance, but still has enough "give" to not add tons of noise, vibration, and harshness to your daily drive. The bushings are direct replacements for your factory IRS control arm bushings and come with a tube of grease for installation.
